Adobe spreads Flash to tons of new hardware platforms

In a bid to fight back Microsoft, Adobe wants to spread its Flash platform to all sorts of devices, not just PCs.
Chip designers Sigma Designs (Nasdaq: SIGM), Broadcom (Nasdaq: BRCM), Freescale (NYSE: FSL), and Intel (Nasdaq: INTC) has plans to supports Flash on their latest platforms such as set-top boxes, mobile phones, and netbooks in the near future. That kind of support across different hardware platforms is something that Silverlight can't equally match today.

What does it mean for us designers. Well, that's good news. We can now use flash on many different platforms. More  exposure for our work. hehe.
